When you see a product that looks perfect in the store. It appears to be the perfect shade for you, seems versatile enough and applies like a dream. Know that feeling? What about when you pay for it and take it home, only to discover that it lied to you. Not only is it the wrong shade for your skin tone, you just look like a ghost when you put it on. What about that feeling? I know the second one all too well. The Help! series explores some of my most common beauty product purchase mishaps, and how I made use of the wrong product rather than throwing it in the trash, turning it into a product that I reach for even more often than the ones I did get right.
